Nintendo Switch Online went live on September 20th, 2018 much to the excitement and delight of Nintendo fans worldwide.

The service has already managed to rack up 5 million subscriptions and the numbers are only expected to grow in the coming days, weeks and months.

What's so good about the service, you ask?

There are many features that it offers, including online multiplayer gaming, improved voice chat system, exclusive discount offers for members, cloud storage for saving game data – and an expansive library of classic NES games.

Err… You mean the Yoshis, Double Dragons, Tecmo Bowls and all those other memorable NES games that made our childhood fun?

Yup, exactly!

What does the complete line-up look like, you ask?

So Far Twenty Games Have Been Released…

The Nintendo Switch Online game library currently houses twenty classic NES games. These include:

Ghosts 'n Goblins

Remember Arthur, Princess Prin-Prin and the demon king Astaroth?

Excitebike

It was our first motocross racing game. And we must admit, we were so very poor at it—LOL!

Tecmo Bowl

Touchdown…Yayyy!

Did you know Tecmo Bowl was the first console game to include real NFL players?

Yoshi

It's raining Bloobers, Boo Buddies and Goombas and you've to help Mario with the airborne invasion.

Double Dragon

Whoosh, whack, whack—boom!

Just beat 'em up with whatever comes to hand!

Gradius

The people of Gradius need you once again to save the day. Have you got your space fighter jet ready?

Ice Hockey

The only ice hockey game where teams played with five players each as opposed to six—HA! Nevertheless, it was fun.

Pro Wrestling

The wrestling ring is calling you. Can you pin your next opponent?

Baseball

It was one of the first games to be released on NES, and it had two versions: Japanese and American. Which version did you play?

The lineup also includes Donkey Kong, Ice Climber, Dr. Mario, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Balloon Fight, The Legend of Zelda, Soccer and Tennis.

Nintendo has announced that it will be adding more games to the library, and so you can expect to enjoy some serious NES fun on the platform in the coming months.
