Kirby Super Star, also known as Kirby's Fun Pak in PAL regions is a side-scrolling platform video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo. It was the fourth game to release in the series of Kirby games and it was split into mini-games, unlike the previous Kirby games that came before it. The gameplay is similar to previous games in the Kirby series as the player controls Kirby and has to complete the levels while defeating enemies and avoiding obstacles. Kirby is still able to absorb the powers of most of his enemies, granting him the ability to throw bombs, swing swords, throw boomerangs, among other things.
