Super Mario Bros. 2 is a platforming video game developed and published by Nintendo for the NES. The game has been remade and re-released for several game consoles since its initial release, including the Game Boy Advance. The Western release of Super Mario Bros. 2 was a re-skin of the Famicom Disk System released game Doki Doki Panic. The official Super Mario Bros. 2 game that was released in Japan was later released internationally as Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels. The objective of the game is to navigate Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess through the dream world Subcon to defeat Wart. Instead of jumping on the enemies or using fire flowers like the previous game, you pick up objects, including vegetables that can be thrown at enemies to defeat them.
