Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2D side-scrolling action-platform game developed by Konami and published by Ultra Games in the United States for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was the first video game based on the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. In the game, the Ninja Turtles must retrieve the Life Transformer Gun from Shredder, which they need to transform Splinter back into a human. You get to control any of the four Ninja Turtles, each having a different weapon and play style. It's up to you to know when to use a specific turtle and when it's time to switch over to another to avoid death.
