Adventure is an adventure game developed by Warren Robinett. In it, players control a simplistic square avatar that can explore an open game world, one that spans multiple rooms and random enemies. The overall goal of Adventure is to find a chalice and return it to the golden castle. Adventure is well-known for introducing several new concepts to the game industry, including being one of the first games to take place in an open world with multiple rooms. It was also the first video game to include an easter egg, containing a very hidden room that has Robinett's name inside. Numerous games since then have gone on to include their own easter eggs.
