Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the sixth major installment in the long-running Ubisoft franchise 'Assassin's Creed'. The game pushes back its historical time period to an earlier time compared to the American Revolutionary War from ACIII. Black Flag puts players in the boots of pirate Edward Kenway, a relative of III's very own protagonist and antagonist. The game features the same core stealth/action gameplay of other AC games, but differentiates itself from its siblings by having a huge focus on naval combat and sea exploration. The game features a much larger open world as a result, and intense pirate ship-to-ship combat.
