Breath of Fire Cheats For SNES

Hidden Emperor Sword

After defeating Jade in Scande, approach the chair positioned directly behind him. Walk around to the back of the chair and press A to interact with it. This action rewards you with the Emperor Sword (EmporSD), widely regarded as the most powerful weapon available to the hero in the entire game.

Easter Eggs

Chun-Li Attack Cameo

To view a hidden cameo appearance by Chun-Li from Street Fighter, travel to the town of Bleak and visit the magician boy’s house. Speak with him, and he will ask you to place 100 GP on the table so he can make it disappear. Just agree to this request.

When prompted to “look behind you,” select No twice, then choose Yes on the third prompt. If done correctly, the trick will succeed and reveal a secret scene showing Chun-Li in a room performing her iconic Lightning Kick.

Chun-Li Ending Cameo

If Ryu enters the final boss battle against Tyr with the BrokenSD equipped, an additional variation of the ending will be triggered. During the ending cutscene, Chun-Li will appear in Drogen, marking a special cameo that does not occur under normal conditions.

Breath of Fire Game Genie Codes

The following cheat codes are for Game Genie. These can be used on a Super Nintendo (SNES) with a Game Genie device, or you can use these on any emulator that supports Game Genie Codes. If you want a Game Genie device, you can always check online for one.

Breath of Fire Cheats For GBA

Max Gold

Begin by depositing all of your current gold. Next, ensure that a member of your party is carrying an item that is worth more than the most expensive item sold in any shop. Attempt to trade this high-value item for a cheaper one. When the game asks you to confirm the trade, select No. After canceling the trade, your gold will glitch to 999,999, giving you the maximum amount of money available in the game.

Ryu from Breath of Fire II Cameo

During the final battle against the Goddess, use Agni, the strongest dragon spell in the game. Casting Agni forces the Goddess to transform into her ultimate form. After defeating her in this state, you will unlock the “GOOD” ending.

As the ending sequence plays, you’ll see Nina and Ryu smiling together on screen, followed by a “The End” message. However, don’t exit just yet; wait approximately 15 seconds after the message appears. If you’re patient, a special surprise will occur: the older version of Ryu from Breath of Fire II will appear, accompanied by a “To Be Continued” message.

This hidden scene is an exclusive Easter egg added to the GBA version of Breath of Fire, subtly encouraging players to continue the story by playing GBA Breath of Fire II.
