BurgerTime is a platforming game developed by Data East. The game's origins lie in the Japanese arcades, where it grew in popularity before being brought to the States and ported to various consoles. The gameplay is platforming in nature, having players collect pieces of a burger for assembly. Fully assemble the burger and you complete the level, with six levels in total. You have to avoid the food-based enemies that follow you as you climb the ladders. BurgerTime transferred hands throughout its lifetime, branded under different publishers in both Japan and the USA before G-Mode acquired ownership of the IP after Data East's bankruptcy.
