Captain Commando is a 2D beat 'em up game developed and published by Capcom. Captain Commando was originally released for the arcade but later released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and the Sony Playstation. The game is set in the year 2026 when the world is filled with crime and Captain Commando is his Commando companions must rid the earth of the overwhelming crime. Captain Commando has similar gameplay to Capcom's previous game "Final Fight" where the player makes their way to the end of the level defeating enemies along the way. Each playable character has its own play style and special ability they can use to dispatch enemies.
