Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a platform game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis in 1992. It follows the story from where the Original Sonic the Hedgehog game leaves off with Sonic trying to stop Doctor Robotnik from stealing the Chaos Emeralds and using them for evil. This time around Sonic has help from his sidekick, Miles "Tails" Prower, which can controllable by a second player or can be used instead of Sonic while playing single player. The game moves at a faster pace than the first one and brings a new move to the table called the "Super Dash Attack" allowing you to make it up steep inclines in case you ran out of speed.
