Star Fox, or Starwing as it's known in the PAL regions, is a 3D rail shooter game developed by Nintendo and Argonaut Software for the Super Nintendo (SNES). This is the first game to release in the Star Fox series of games, debuting Fox McCloud and the rest of the Star Fox team for the first time. Star Fox is a rail shooter (follows a fixed path), that is in a third-person and a first-person 3D perspective. In Star Fox the player controls Fox McCloud's spacecraft and must navigate it through treacherous environments while defeating any enemy that attacks you or your team.
