Altered Beast Cheats For Sega Genesis

Beast Select

To select which beast to transform into for each level, on the title screen, hold A + B + C + Down/Left then press Start. If you did this correctly, a screen will appear that lets you select your beast transformation on a per-level basis.

Level Select

To access the level selection option, on the title screen, press B + Start. If you did this correctly, a screen will pop up allowing you to select your starting round (level).

Change Difficulty

To change the difficulty of the game, on the title screen, press B + Start. If you did this correctly, a screen will pop up allowing you to change the difficulty of the game.

Start With More Health

To start with more health, on the title screen, press B + Start. If you did this correctly, a screen will pop up allowing you to up your starting health from 3 blocks all the way up to 5.

Start With More Lives

To start with more lives, on the title screen, press B + Start. If you did this correctly, a screen will pop up allowing you to change your starting lives from 3 lives all the way up to 5 starting lives.

Sound Test

To access the sound test, on the title screen, hold A + C + Up/Right, then press Start. If you entered this cheat code correctly, a screen will pop up with all of the music and sound effects. You can press Up or Down on the D-pad the cycle through them and press C to play each one.

Attack Credits

During the credits roll, you can walk around and attack the credits with a punch or kick in order to move to the next credit.

Altered Beast Game Genie Codes

The following cheat codes are for Game Genie. These can be used on a Sega Genesis with a Game Genie device or you can use these on any emulator that supports Game Genie Codes. If you want a Game Genie Device, you can always check on Amazon for one.
