Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cheats For NES

Extra Continues

You can use the Konami Code here which will give you extra continues instead of extra lives like in other games. While on the title screen, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A and Start. This will give you 4 continues instead of only 2.

Easy Health

Anywhere you find a full pizza or a pizza slice near an entrance to an area, you can take advantage of this to restore your energy (health). Go in and grab the pizza, then exit and repeat this till you have full health. The pizza will respawn each time you exit, then enter the area.

Kill Rocksteady Without Taking Damage

On the first encounter with Rocksteady it is possible to kill him without taking and damage. To do this you will need to switch to Donatello and stand on the boxes to the right. When Rocksteady jumps, make sure to attack him, this makes the fight a lot longer but makes sure you don't take any damage during the fight.

Giant Mouser Boss Glitch

The Giant Mouser boss on level 4 can be beaten by taking advantage of a glitch. Stand underneath Mouser and when his mouth opens, pause the game. Then, unpause the game causing Mouser to close his mouth, this is your chance to hit him as he is vulnerable even with his mouth closed. You can repeat this every time he opens his mouth.

Boomerangs For All

You can give boomerangs to other turtles by throwing 3 of them, then while they are in flight, switch to a different turtle and they will catch them. This is an easy way to distribute boomerangs to Ninja Turtles that don't have any.
